Mentored by respected sean-nós artists\, he has built a reputation as one of the rising voices in Irish traditional music\, blending authenticity with a warm stage presence that resonates with audiences across Ireland. \nEoghan Ó Ceannabháin is a Dublin-based singer\, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose musical\nroots are in the Conamara sean-nós singing tradition. A versatile performer\, he draws on a variety of\nvocal techniques like lilting and throat singing\, concertina playing that breathes with his singing\, and a\nlifting flute style that all combine to create a rooted\, expansive soundscape. His songs have a storytelling\nquality to them\, moving through themes of struggle\, loss\, resistance and healing\, and carried by a\npowerful and resonant voice that ranges from the intimate to the elemental. \n
