Donncha Mac Niallais Memorial Lecture – Donncha Mac Niallais: Léacht Cuimhneacháin

Ciarán Mac Giolla Bhéin, the Belfast based President of Conradh na Gaeilge, pays tribute to the role played by Donncha Mac Niallais in promoting the Irish language in the city over many years.  Ciarán will also outline the current challenges facing Conradh na Gaeilge and the wider Irish language community in Ireland, north and south, as it builds on the incredible legacy of activism left by Donncha and others. This is an Irish language event with a simultaneous translation. Refreshments available.
